Volume Interactive collaborated with the Downtown Kingsport Rotary and Kingsport Parks and Recreation to create an interactive kiosk and website dedicated to honoring Veterans in Kingsport and East Tennessee.
The interactive kiosk is situated at J. Fred Johnson Memorial Park in Kingsport and offers a digital interface that enables visitors to search for the names of Veterans listed on the park's bricks.
Drawing from data collected from print records, this immersive experience contains over 2,100 stories that visitors can explore and browse online, allowing them to engage with and learn about the rich history of these Veterans.
In addition to the dedicated efforts and advanced technology that brought this project to life, the regional sponsors played a crucial role by generously supporting and respecting the idea. Numerous significant community sponsorships were instrumental in both establishing and sustaining this beloved community destination.
